All Speedy Move trucks carry a full compliment of tools to facilitate disassembly and reassembly of your items when needed. This saves a tremendous amount of time!
We will change dryer plugs (provided I have one on hand or you have the new one available) for you so that you can focus on enjoying your new home.
If notified before your move, we can be prepared to help pack any leftover items that you might have run out of time to do. We can also fully pack you if necessary.
We can move large items such as safes and pianos and do so without “extra charges” in almost all cases.
We are flexible 99% of the time and are able to change our schedule to match what’s happening with yours. We do our very best to make the situation you’re in work for everyone to alleviate stress.

We completed a U-Haul experiment in which we rented a 14′ truck for an average 1 bedroom move. The initial cost they advertised was 19.95 a day. I found out the hard way that this couldn’t have been further from the truth! After insurance, mileage and fuel, the total cost for a 1 bedroom move, which was average size and took two trips (the second not very full at all) was $178. Speedy Move’s two hour minimum, using a large trailer (32ft), more than enough room for one trip, is $220. And, our price includes everything! Two men, power tools to take things apart, and two hours of labor for only $42 more than what you will pay to do the job yourself. $42 is a small price to pay to have someone do the labor for you. So call us. It’s just not worth the effort and the time to do it yourself when we can do it for you for just a few $ more.

    Estimate cannot factor in "sorting" boxes due to several unknowns. This estimate is for placing all or the majority of boxes in one area. Talk to Colin directly if you have questions on how to label your boxes to make it easier for sorting if that is something you wish to have done.

“Very fast and mindful movers. Was able to get a move scheduled on a day that worked best for me. They were on time and Eric, one of the owner’s, was very kind and professional. Nothing was scratched or broken but even if it was I understand moving things that are not in a box is hard and not easy, would have been best had I had all my belonging packed and taped up but they were careful despite my negligence. They worked very fast and very hard and the price was reasonable. Will recommend them to everyone.”
